TDS Compliance Services in Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Faridabad
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is one of the most widely applicable compliance requirements for businesses and individuals in India. The obligation to deduct and deposit TDS arises on a broad range of payments — salary, rent, professional fees, contractor and sub-contractor charges, commission and brokerage, interest, property purchase consideration, director remuneration, and many other categories of payment. Non-compliance with TDS provisions attracts serious consequences — TDS demand notices from the Income Tax Department, interest at 1% per month for failure to deduct and 1.5% per month for failure to deposit after deduction, late filing fees under Section 234E at Rs. 200 per day, and disallowance of 30% of the related expense under Section 40(a)(ia). FinAngel Advisory provides complete, end-to-end TDS compliance management for businesses, employers, and individuals across all areas of Delhi NCR.
TAN Registration and TDS Setup
Every entity required to deduct TDS — including companies, LLPs, firms, trusts, HUFs, and individuals paying salaries or rent above prescribed thresholds — must first obtain a Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN) from the Income Tax Department. TAN registration is done online through Form 49B. FinAngel Advisory handles TAN applications for new businesses, change of address or name corrections on existing TANs, TAN surrender for closed entities, and deductor profile updates on the TRACES portal. We also assist with preliminary TDS setup — identifying all applicable TDS sections, setting up vendor master data with correct PAN and TDS category, and establishing internal processes for timely TDS deduction and monthly challan payment. We serve businesses starting up across every location in Delhi NCR — from new IT startups in Noida Sector 62 to manufacturing companies in Manesar, Gurgaon and trading firms in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
Quarterly TDS Return Filing — All Forms
TDS returns must be filed quarterly within 31 days of the end of each quarter (except Q4 which is due by 31 May). Four types of quarterly TDS returns apply: Form 24Q for TDS on salary payments to employees, Form 26Q for TDS on all non-salary payments to resident individuals and entities, Form 27Q for TDS on payments to non-residents and foreign companies, and Form 27EQ for Tax Collected at Source (TCS). FinAngel Advisory manages the complete quarterly TDS return filing process — collecting payment data and challans from client records, validating PAN details for all deductees against the Income Tax PAN database, generating FVU files using authorised software, cross-checking challan amounts with monthly deposits, and filing returns through the TIN-NSDL portal before due dates.
We serve the HR and accounts departments of large IT companies in DLF Cyber City and Golf Course Road, Gurgaon; manufacturing plants in IMT Faridabad and Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad; corporate offices in Connaught Place, Nehru Place, and Barakhamba Road, Delhi; real estate developers in Noida and Greater Noida; educational institutions in Faridabad, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad; hospital groups in Delhi and Gurgaon; and hundreds of SMEs across every district of Delhi NCR.
Form 16 and Form 16A Generation
Form 16 is the annual TDS certificate that employers must issue to each employee by 15 June confirming the total salary paid and total TDS deducted during the financial year. Part A of Form 16 is downloaded from the TRACES portal using consolidated deductor data, and Part B contains the detailed salary breakup and deduction schedule prepared by the employer. Form 16A is the TDS certificate for non-salary deductions such as TDS on rent, professional fees, contractor payments, and interest, and must be issued quarterly within 15 days of the TDS return filing due date.
FinAngel Advisory handles Form 16 and Form 16A generation for all client companies using verified TRACES data and detailed salary calculations. Our Form 16 generation service covers accurate computation of gross salary, HRA exemption calculation for employees in rented accommodation across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, perquisite valuation for company cars, accommodation, ESOPs and other benefits, deduction under all applicable sections of Chapter VIA, and correct computation of TDS. We issue Form 16 for clients with 10 to over 5,000 employees, with 100% accuracy and timely delivery before the statutory deadline.
TDS on Property Purchase — Form 26QB
Under Section 194-IA, every buyer of immovable property worth Rs. 50 lakh or more must deduct 1% TDS (or the full consideration if the seller does not provide PAN) and deposit it using Form 26QB on the income tax portal within 30 days from the end of the month in which the deduction is made. Failure to comply results in interest at 1.5% per month, penalty under Section 271C equal to the TDS amount, and the buyer being treated as an assessee-in-default. This provision applies very widely in Delhi NCR, where the majority of residential and commercial property transactions exceed Rs. 50 lakh in value.
FinAngel Advisory assists property buyers across Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad with Form 26QB preparation and filing, PAN verification of the seller, computation of TDS amount and applicable surcharge and cess, generation of Form 16B (TDS certificate to be issued to the seller), and correction of errors in previously filed Form 26QB. Our property TDS service has helped hundreds of homebuyers and commercial property purchasers across Delhi NCR comply with this important provision without stress or penalties.
TDS on Rent — Form 26QC and Section 194-IB
Under Section 194-IB, individuals and HUFs paying monthly rent exceeding Rs. 50,000 for use of any land or building must deduct TDS at 5% in the last month of the tenancy or in the month of March, whichever is earlier. This obligation applies to millions of salaried professionals and business owners in Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad who rent premium apartments and office spaces with monthly rent above Rs. 50,000. The TDS must be deposited using Form 26QC within 30 days from the end of the month in which TDS is deducted, and Form 16C must be issued to the landlord within 15 days of filing.
FinAngel Advisory assists tenants with Form 26QC preparation, TDS computation, portal filing, and Form 16C generation for their landlords. We also advise on PAN collection from landlords, treatment of security deposits, and TDS on advance rent payments.
TRACES Management and TDS Reconciliation
TDS mismatches in Form 26AS and AIS occur when deductors file incorrect PAN, wrong challan details, or mismatched amounts in their TDS returns. These mismatches cause significant problems during ITR filing — rejected ITC claims, excess tax demands, and delayed refunds. FinAngel Advisory provides TDS reconciliation and mismatch resolution services for clients across Delhi NCR. We identify the source of mismatches, contact the concerned deductor to file correction returns, use the TRACES Online Correction facility for permitted corrections, and monitor Form 26AS to confirm corrections are reflected. Our reconciliation service ensures that all TDS credits due to our clients appear correctly in their Form 26AS before ITR filing.
TDS Compliance Audit for Large Organisations
Large organisations with multiple cost centres, numerous vendors, and complex payment structures are particularly vulnerable to TDS compliance gaps — missed deductions on specific vendor categories, application of incorrect TDS rates, wrong section codes, timing differences in TDS deposits, or failure to obtain PAN from vendors. FinAngel Advisory conducts periodic TDS compliance reviews for manufacturing companies in Faridabad and Manesar, real estate developers in Gurgaon and Noida, IT companies in Cyber City, and conglomerates with multiple group companies across Delhi NCR. Our TDS compliance reviews systematically identify gaps and help organisations proactively rectify issues before they attract departmental scrutiny and costly penalties.
Lower TDS Certificate Under Section 197
When a taxpayer expects that the normal rate of TDS deduction on their income will result in excess tax being deducted beyond their actual tax liability, they can apply to the Assessing Officer for a Lower Deduction Certificate (LDC) under Section 197. The certificate, once granted, authorises the deductor to deduct TDS at a lower rate specified in the certificate rather than the normal statutory rate. This is particularly valuable for NRIs receiving rental income from properties in Gurgaon, Noida, and Delhi who otherwise face 30% TDS deduction, and for companies and professionals receiving large contract payments or professional fees subject to 10% TDS under Section 194J. FinAngel Advisory assists clients across Delhi NCR with Section 197 LDC applications — preparing Form 13, compiling the required financial data, filing the application on the income tax portal, and following up with the jurisdictional Assessing Officer until the certificate is granted. A timely LDC saves significant cash flow for businesses and individuals receiving large TDS-deductible payments.
TDS Compliance for Startups and New Businesses
New businesses and startups in Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad frequently overlook TDS compliance in the early months of operation, focusing instead on building the business. This results in TDS demand notices covering multiple quarters, with accumulated interest and late filing fees that can run into lakhs for even a medium-sized startup. FinAngel Advisory provides new business TDS setup and compliance regularisation — helping startups identify all payment categories where TDS applies, setting up TDS deduction processes, filing any pending TDS returns for previous quarters, and establishing a compliant monthly TDS workflow going forward. Our proactive TDS management for new businesses across NCR has saved dozens of startups from significant penalties that would otherwise have impacted their limited early-stage finances.
